We are looking for a Customer Service Rep for a 6 months contract role in Knoxville, TN.
Monday – Friday 8 am to 5 pm
Skills for Customer Service Rep:
Looking for someone that has experience with SAP and some transportation background
Schedule delivery appointments with customers, vendors, and mills meeting their requirements and supporting the shipment planning process.
Accurate and timely entry of delivery appointments into the appropriate system, accompanied by identification and communication of exceptions to requested arrival.
Create shipments that are complete and accurate in time to meet daily loading/unloading schedules.
Assists Analyst in administrative assignments as required to achieve maximum team efficiency
High school education and advanced education or experience in transportation, order processing, or customer service.
Four to six years of office experience including a high level of administrative or operational skills and several years of experience supporting management is typically required, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Two years of experience in Transportation organization is preferred to acquire the systems and process knowledge to perform at the Transportation Operations Technician level.
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
